From arrival to departure, The Cheesecake Factory is nothing but impressive. If you’re not a cheesecake person, fear not! Cheesecake is only part of what The Cheesecake Factory has to offer. But I guarantee that you’ll fall in love with their cheesecake, if you simply try it.
If you love someone, buy them a gift card to The Cheesecake Factory, and they’ll love you forever:
My first visit to The Cheesecake Factory (many years ago) shocked me. I wasn’t sure if I had strayed into Egypt or Paris. The painted columns, the blown glass lights, and all the other creative decor kept me well occupied while I was waiting to be seated.
On this most recent visit to the Columbia, Maryland restaurant my son Joseph and my niece Sammy couldn’t stop staring at all the colorful decorations. The few minutes of peace that this bought me was alone worth the trip.
Now onto the encyclopedia…I mean, the menu. Yes, the huge menu has something for everyone, and then some. I have never been anywhere that has the culinary variety and volume to match The Cheesecake Factory. If you’ve been there, you know I’m not exaggerating too much when I say that this menu is like an encyclopedia. If you click here you can see a PDF menu from the Columbia, Maryland location (menus vary from location to location).
I’m happy to report that every single meal that I’ve tried has been superb, and of higher quality than many higher priced restaurants I’ve eaten at. If you’re a pasta lover (like me) I highly recommend the Farfalle with Chicken and Roasted Garlic. The burgers are also worth trying…actually, everything is worth trying. Everything is just so good.
With the enormous portion sizes, I’m not sure why they bring you bread before your meal, but it really does make you feel like you’re getting a great value. It really is amazing bread.
A well hydrated girl is a happy girl!
Drumroll please…doesn’t the Farfalle with Chicken and Roasted Garlic look amazing? Well, it tastes amazing too! Please, please leave a comment below & share your favorite menu items with me so I can try them next time I go.
For some strange reason my wife always seems to order peperoni pizza everywhere we go…but it really did taste great…
…as my son’s full mouth will attest.
Here’s a tip for older folks (like my parents), or people with a smaller appetite: many entrées can be shared, and you’ll still walk out the front door with a full belly!
The kid’s menu is also amazing! My son likes to inspect his prey carefully before he tears into it. Did you know that he was 11 lbs. 2 oz. when he was born? He’s still bigger than most kids that are a year older than him. We’re already getting recruiting calls from college football teams.
Now for the best part: the cheesecake! The above photo is only half a slice of cheesecake…you’ll notice that the servers were kind enough to bring a piece of cheesecake out on two plates, since the cheesecake would be shared…of course, I had a whole slice.
This is the line for people who walked in just to buy a cheesecake. I believe there are around 50 delectable cheesecake flavors, so you’re guaranteed to find something that you love.
What is your favorite cheesecake flavor? Leave a comment below & let me know!
Some of my favorite flavors are “White Chocolate Raspberry Truffle”, “Reese’s Peanut Butter Chocolate Cake Cheesecake” (huge), and “Snickers Bar Chunks and Cheesecake.” Does it sound like I enjoy chocolate a little bit?
