My wife Laura & I found this hotel above a colorful flower shop. At 60 Euros ($85) per night, I honestly didn’t know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised to see a quaint and sparkling interior with a cozy bed, old wooden ceiling beams, a modern bathroom, and an unbeatable view of the Siena skyline. And did I mention the remote-controlled skylight?

In case you missed it, here’s my short video of the city of Siena, Italy:
“Nestled in the heart of Siena’s historical center, just a few steps from Piazza del Campo, the hotel Palazzo Fani Mignanelli offers comfortable relaxing accommodations in an intimate boutique hotel setting. Whether you are in Siena on vacation, business, or to study our charming hotel is an ideal place to stay while enjoying Siena and its fascinating history.”
You can see the location of the hotel by looking at the below Google Map:
The receptionists were very friendly, and freely offered advice on what to see in Siena during the holiday season. Accommodations include satellite TV, wireless internet, remote controlled air conditioning, hydro-massage shower heads, and much more.
The renaissance-style decor was well thought out, and appropriately mixed with modern furnishings. I especially enjoyed the classic Italian tiles throughout the building.
All in all, I would say that this hotel has been one of the most pleasant surprises I have experienced in all my traveling!
